I am curious about experienced peoples opinions on the cobalt and specifically the SS non supercharged.

Before anybody says they don't exist, they do. Google it.

I am on a limited budget so super/turbo is not an option, and I'm looking for a decent yet fairly new and cheap car with some power, but again on a limited budget I realize that its limited power too.

I wanna know how they hold up and what some big problems are with them. Also how they run and general opinions as well as any recommendations on performance parts to add onto it after I purchase it.

Also, for all of the Cobalt (or american cars in general) haters, any recommendations on a similar priced and powered/quality cars?

and if you like/dislike, any reasons would be appreciated:)

Thanks

The non supercharged Cobalt SS does exist. I'm a member of www.cobaltss.net and own a 06 supercharged Cobalt SS. Bought it brand new 4 years ago.

The non-supercharged Cobalt SS has all the cosmetics of the supercharged SS like the body kit, rims, interior etc...but just has a 160 horsepower 2.4 liter four cylinder engine.

It is a solid car. I've not had any problems with mine.
