I have an 05 Pontiac Grand Prix with the 3.8l V6 Series III engine. I have been having the problem of my car trying to turn over but the Driver Information Control Center saying STARTING DISABLED BY ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL and now I had a problem of the Gauges not turning on or moving, but all the lights worked just not the gauges. Also, the D.I.C. says error MI when I was trying to see the mileage. I turned off my car for a couple minutes and the gauges went right back to normal. I have read a couple forums that have said that the ignition could be caused either by The Throttle, Throttle Position Sensor, or Throttle Actuator Control Module. I don't know about the gauges though. Would you think I should change the Throttle Position Sensor and the Throttle Actuator Control Module to settle the stalling? Also, what should I do about my gauges?
