2005 Mazda Rx-8 good on maintenance?

Hello I'm thinking about buying a 2005 Mazda Rx8 automatic. I was wondering if it is a good car, is it good on maintenance, stuff like that. The asking price is 10 grand and it has 53,000 miles is this a good price for it? How long will this car go before it start to see problems with it. Thank you
 
The RX is an excellent car. Price shop...sounds a little retail to me. Remember sales are down and they want to sell. They should be giving you some more price incentive than 10k.
