After the mechanic hooked up my car to his computer, he got a code that indicated that the oxygen sensor was faulty. He replaced the "top" or is it "forward" oxygen sensor.
A day after leaving the shop the check engine light came on again. He has changed the o2 sensor twice more and the light is still on.
At the same time this is happening...the last two times I have gassed up my car it sounds like it's going to die when I try to start it (while still at the gas station).
Is there any connection between the o2 sensor and the gas station issue?
Could my mechanic be missing something with regards to the o2 sensor issue?
Help.
