I have a 2005 Mazda 6 with a 5 speed that suddenly stopped starting the traditional way.
I was pulling into a driveway and I shifted to third when I shouldhave shifted into second and the car went too slow for third and stalled 5 feet past the driveway entry. No big deal, pushed the clutch and turned the key, got one click and nothing happened.
With the help of friends and a hilled road I can push start it. But if I'm at a red light, and I slip up and stall by accident I'm in big trouble.
I took both the starter and the battery to Autozone and both were in working order.
I will admit, when I first got the car in August, I was stalling alot the first few weeks, but now I stall maybe once a week.
Has anyone worked with Mazdas doing this before?
