Bought a '05 Jeep Liberty 4x4 Limited back in August. Really love it except for some traction problems. I'm going to try changing the tires that are on it and see if that works. Basically, I have hydroplaned at low speeds a few times, and I seem to "peel out" at weird times....such as when I'm on gravel, but only accelerating slightly, etc. Anyone else have traction problems w/ Liberty?
Also, what tires do you suggest? I'm pretty much at the mercy of the mechanic on this one. Don't know too much about tires. I just need them for everyday, winter driving. I live in NW PA, which gets a lot of snow....
Also...kind of lost on this whole 4-wheel drive thing? When am I supposed to use it? In rain or just snow when I'm stuck?
