2005 Honda Odyssey transmission shifting funny?

Have you checked the transmission fluid level & colour. If the level is low you will need to add some oil, but you have to do it by the book, that could cause the gearbox to malfunction. If the oil colour is red that is good. If the oil is abrown colour that means the gearbox needs to be serviced. I hope this may help you.
 
My honda is shifting funny. It acts like it struggles to determine what gear it should be in. Driving down the road it goes in to a higher gear and has to down shift and sometimes it shift in to high of a gear and has to down shift to a lower gear
