Been driving for 6 hours on highway and finally ran out of gas therefore I refueled with regular fuel as always except this time right after the gas station drove slowly to a drive through and noticed the engine temperature was reaching about 90% high!
Parked the car and checked under the hood and fan is working, coolant is right amount.
Started driving again to test it and temperature went back to normal, however when I stop the car temperature rises again!
What could be the problem??
Only serious answers as I am currently on the road and still have an hour to drive therefore need to know what's wrong!
Thank you!!!
It's actually 2003 Honda Civic LX.. It had 93000 k and so did an engine oil change to 5-W20 high mileage oil.. Could the high mileage oil be the cause of the problem??
Btw I'm not the driver but the passenger who's writing...
