2005 honda accord vs 2008 VW jetta?

i have been thinking about selling my2005 honda accord and getting a 2008 vw jetta se.. the 2005 honda accord has 50000 miles on it and is worth $14310 which is quite good cause i only paid $6000 for it....but the VW jetta is 2008 with 24,000 miles and only cost $11000 so i would be getting a newer car and about $3,000 i dont know what to do....
