2005 Ford Escape Headlight Adjustment?

OK, I am so aggravated. The main headlights on my 2005 Ford Escape are not aligned properly. The driver side is higher than the passenger side. Is there a detailed explanation how to fix this? I can't find the "adjusting screws" anywhere, I've looked all inside there. Ugh... PLEASE HELP!!!
