We were pulling our camper home and it just shut off as we were going home. We didnt notice that it was overheating and we seen that the thermostat was bad and changed it and it is still overheating. Any suggestions on what it may be?
Please only helpful answers
we went to a shop and they said that the thermostat was bad that it wasnt opening thats y we replaced it.

Blown gasket? If it starts to overheat almost instantly then it most likely is that and if it takes a little while check your coolant level.

NEVER replace any part till you KNOW the problem.
Go to a RADIATOR SHOP, not auto repair, and have your radiator checked.

Never put cold water in a hot engine or disaster will incur>The truck should be still under warranty as it has 7yrs 70,0000 miles =If not than check the rad & clutch fan>

rad fan clutch might be bad but towing will put some added heat on the motor and tranny, so I'm sure it's lacking air flow as well

when your car is overheating you should put cold water in or over the gas tank. my dad did it and i worked.
