took my truck to emission failed. I bought the truck 10 mos ago used. They couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. So I took it to another place to have a diagnosis test. They were not able to read the computer codes. The same thing happened at another place I took it. I was told because the truck is 4yrs old and has very low mileage, codes probably erased and can't be read . I was told to drive it 200 miles and have a retake. They feel that once the extra 200 miles are driven, the computer codes can be read. Has anybody heard of this?
