I bought a trailblazer about 2 months ago and immediately had the compressor replaced under warranty bc it wasnt working. They give it back to me and the belt is screeching now and I get a horrible mildew smell off and on through the a/c vents. the smell is not continuous and i notice the belt screeching gets quieter when i turn the a/c on. The mechanic is trying to tell me i need to buy a new belt but it was working fine up until they touched it. any ideas?
