I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox that i have having problems starting. I have had the car for 2 yrs it has 52000 miles on it. I had first notice the problem the first winter that we had had it and though oh its winter no big deal. Well it had continued so the next time that i had to take in in for oil change i had the dealer look at it they had told me that nothing was wrong. Well it has happen numerous times since then and everytime that i take it to get oil change i mention to the dealer but they never have found anything wrong. Well today it has happened twice to me and the second time that it had happened i had smell a aroma of gas after it finally started. When going to start the car it acts like it wants to start but never does so put the key in the normal position and the try again and usually starts the second time around i am wanting to get this problem resolve someone please help. Also i have had the front left strut replace with in the last couple weeks cause it had been squeaky when turning right well not even a week after i had had it back it started squeaking again is this a known problem as well?
