i have a 2005 chevrolet aveo and when i used to take the parking brake off the day runners would come on. now they dont. they dealership tells me there is a censor in the dash for how much light there is outside. i have seen these censors in other gm cars on mine i have yet to see it. i believe that the lights are not automatic that the daytime running lights are turned on and off by the parking brake and when the head lights are turned ont it turns them off. am i correct? and if i am why wont they turn on anymore?
