...going crazy? It started about 5 months ago, my wife's Buick's gas indicator started going crazy. We would have run out of gas, had the car computer/LED readout not warned us. On further inspection, we found the car knew exactly how much gas was in the tank, it just didn't display it on the analog dial correctly. Now, about 3 weeks ago, the speedometer started acting up, but the gas level indicator was working.
I know nothing about vehicles, but this sounds like possibly a wiring harness that's loose/rocking?
