Okay i've had this problem for a while now, the thing is this. NOT ALWAYS but most of the time the car cranks up great like its ready to go, but right after it loses power, kind of tries to stay running and shakes the car up, and dies. You can try and try and it wont stay on, but it will crank...the way to fix it is by pressing the gas pedal on start up to keep the engine running and problem solved...what the HELL could this be? i've replaced battery, checked alternator, replaced fuel filter, had a fuel system clean, had a coolant clean and flush, new spark plugs, new belt, umm...God knows what else, but the problem is still there, one guy suggested just today to check my ignition coils, which i am going to do, but what do you think it is? any suggestions?

summary:

cranks great
starts to lose power greatly and tries to stay on but does not UNLESS you press the gas pedal
also, when moving the windows up or down you can see the electricity die a bit
idle keeps going up and down right at .75 but keeps moving especially with AC on from .6 to .8

help a brother out

thank you!
