We took my girlfriends 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT in to get its oil changed. What kind of oil did the car come off the lot with from that year? Was it fully synthetic or was it dino oil? I'm a bit concerned, because the shop put in regular dino oil and since we bought the car used we have no idea what kind of oil was put in there during previous oil changes. Will there be any harm done from switching from synthetic to regular if that is indeed what happened? Or vice versa?
