I was wandering if this is a good buy? I have read a lot more good reviews than bad, and if I do my part as recommended to take care of it will this eliminate the problems that others have had with this car?
It has a manual transmission if that makes a difference.
Price is $11,990
and its used

Mazdas are good on gas, reliable. the miles/year is pretty good
(11, 228). Above 15,000 a year isn't very good so avoid those cars.

Manuel gives you better gas and saves your brakes a little more than automatics. That's all manuals do, really. No significant price difference.

I would say around $22,000 would be a good deal, but I say that without knowing how much it is new.

The best thing to do is research. Ask how much your monthly payment would be, quote it with your insurance company, estimate the gas cost, repairs, etc.

Yes, they are nice cars, but you'd be overpaying for it. In excellent condition (virtually perfect, in other words), it would be worth about 11k, according to kellybluebook.com. KBB is inflated already, though. It would be a good deal for about 10k.
