Its a 2004 Mazda RX GT Trim
67k Miles

I'm getting it for $9,500 but the book value is over $13k.

I know what to look for when I see the car.

~This is my checklist~
Check to see if they did the Recalls
Check Exhaust Tips – Shiny or Black? To see if they maintain their car in good condition.
Defroster Buttons
Oil in the trunk? What kind of oil do you use? Because it sips gas while chugging petro.
Ask if it burns oil. Because if he says no then he's an idiot and doesn't refill the oil when its going down.
i. Answer should not be no.

ii. Yeah, I burns X quarts every 3,000 miles, I keep it topped off.

Full service history with receipts.
Check for brake dust
Check on the ignition with specific attention to how long it takes to crank up, the idle smoothness, the smoothness of the top of the RPM range.
If I smell oil when redlining.
Look under the hood and take the engine cover off. My bet is there is a bunch of oil around the oil filter (which is on top of the engine towards the firewall). This comes from oil changes and lazy mechanics that do not clean the engine off afterwards. This oil gets hot and the fumes make their way into the A/C unit when driving.
Check to see if that cat is shot.

Now, I'd like any other more info. If you have things I can look at to see it'd be of great help.
