I cannot open the driver's side door with a key. I can only open it with a automatic door unlocker thing (that thing that stays on your key so you can automatically open/close all doors or turn on the car).
But even when I press the button, every door unlocks but the driver's side door pin goes up and then back down. (unlocks and then locks again)
My brother once left the car locked with the keys in it and a cop tried opening it with a Slim Jim. Since then it has had this problem.
I have taken the door part up until I reach the frame. I am looking at the cables etc but I cannot see why it does not stay unlocked.
Do any of you have any idea what I could do to fix this myself?
Nevermind. I fixed it.
It was simply a pink pin connector on the door.
