About 6 months ago I had a problem where my interior lights would not turn off, power locks / power windows, and side mirrors also do not work. I replaced the module that controls these components. A few weeks ago the problem happend again. Thinking that the module just went bad again I replaced it, but it did not fix the problem.
....Now I noticed that that the ground wire for the auto door locks, windows etc. run underneith the passenger seat carpet. As Im removing the passenger seat I noticed that the carpet is SOAKING wet. Could water have ruined the wires that run under my carpet? By looking at them they seem to be just fine, no indication of rust on the ground connection. Im questioning if this is the real problem if a new module fixed the problem before....anyone have any insight on the mattter?
Thanks,
Brandon
