When I turn on my rear windscreen demister, it will demist the top part of the window, then it will skip the middle for 3 bars, then it will demist a little bit more, then leave the bottom misted still.
Is there anyway to solve this problem as it's highly annoying considering I use my rear view mirror alot and all I can see is a large patch of mist still on the window interior.
Also I've let the demister run for my hours drive home from work without the problem improving.
To add some information:
The car was bought from a garage around a week ago, and I've already made them replace a nearly bald tyre, replace the exhaust, finish the full service they said they did and now I have this stupid back window problem and a problem in the engine which my own mechanic (not the micky mouse garage they send it to) has told me it sounds like the dual flywheel (?) is still racing after the engine is switched off.
Should I just tell the garage I demand they pay for repairs at my local Jennings Ford or they can take the car back and demand a refund, which would be a shame seeing as a I love my Focus thus far.
And I've checked the demister bars, there is only one scratch on them, on a single line, which doesn't explain the vast majority of the window not demisting.
