As i stated above i have a 2004 ford f-250 with a service body that has a bumper mounted to the frame rated for 500 lb tongue weight and 5000 pound gross trailer weight. Besides installing a hitch are there any other options that i have to raise or lower the hitch ball? Ive seen these smaller versions of a hitch. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Does anyone know where I can get a hitch for cheap? If I buy one of those hitch adaptors that look like the reciever tube can i mount that to the bumper or no?
