2004 dodge p/u 4wheel drive transmission out ?

04 2500 cummings Diesel 4wheel drive. i had the carrier bearing go out on the 3000 miles ago and now the truck won't go anywhere just sits like its in neutral. all the fluid was blown out of the transfer case when the carrier went but after filling and draining it looked good. no fillings or metal any help would be grateful as to a cause and cost
