Dont ! It's telling you something ! If everything seems to be OK, it's PROBABLY the o2 sensor ! Change it !( Better still, take it to a qualified mechanic ) !
Scan tool will read the diagnostic code.May be a vacuum leak or a bad gas cap.Try tightening the gas cap and see if it goes out.Best way to keep the check engine light off is fix the problem.
