2003 Toyota Highlander or 2004 Mitsubishi Galant?

2003 Toyota Highlander or 2004 Mitsubishi Galant?

The Highlander is being worked on and being fixed (external) while the Mitsubishi has about 90,000 millage on it but it does not need any work done. I will pay about the same for both each is 6k.

Which should I get? I'm low on cash, very low
Odd thing is the Highlander, even being 2003, is valued more. Reputation?

Honda has the best resale value.
Toyota is also very good and very close to Honda.

Other Japanese cars like Mazda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi have lower resale values, eventhough they are almost as good.

I would go for the Galant.
Cool, blue interior lights, more fun to drive, more fuel efficient.

In my opinion, only people who really need SUV's should buy them.
If you plan on offroading or towing trailers or boats, buy an SUV.
Otherwise, forget about owning one because it would be a waste of money.
