2003 Toyota Camry cd player not playing my cds! help!?!!!!!?

First of all check your using it right or it might be broken so get a machanic or someone to look at it and if its broken get a knew one
 
So, I just bought a used 2003 toyota camry and the guy said the cd player worked and everything was fine. And it looks fine lol... but until today I hadn't tried using a cd in it. I tried playing one today and it just kind of tries to read the disk and then ejects it after a short while. I tried using an original cd, not a burned cd-r, and the same thing happened--it won't play them! :(
What can I do to fix this?!
