My fiance' is driving this car, but I noticed that the car seems to act like its slipping/grinding gears a bit when mainly going from first to second gear. as well as in OD. I tried some lucas in it after it was flushed. The vehicle as of late has been losing transmission fluid. I don't know if she has kept an eye on the fluids normally or not but I'm not sure if the transmission needs a rebuild or if it would be the TC (Torque Converter lock) that Grand Prix's are notorious for having issues with. When I took it to a mechanic (local shop) they only told me it would cost quite a bit of money if they had to look at/fix the issue. and couldn't quote it. any ideas for the cheapest route?
