Is it true, if you competly unhook the battery in a 2003 Grand Am SE1 it will need to re-programed or will lock and only a GM dealer can unlock it?
The radio brand is a Moonsoon with the amp.

If its off for a long time yes you could lose the code. If you are just changing the battery no it should be fine. We have cars get dead batteries and they sit for a while before we find then and we don't have to reprogram them so its safe.

FALSE..... if you disconnect the battery.. all you will have to do is reset the time on the radio...

its a gm.......

not high tech ...

but another thing..... if you didnt have your lower intake manifold gaskets removed...... get them changed... by 55,000 miles... they will go out and you will have antifreeze mixing with your oil..... flush the ex-cool antifreeze out as well.....
