...back when accelerating? I just bought my 2003 Mazda Protege in January of this year (2010). I got two opinions that I needed a transmission flush, so I got it done. Recently, my car's check engine light came on, along with O/D off, and the car seemed to jerk backwards when I accelerated. The check engine light went off after a couple days but it is still kicking back when I accelerate. Could this be related to the transmission flush and can I hold the mechanic responsible for it?
