i have a 2003 honda civic. i put a new timing belt and water pump in it.. about 1 week later, i was sitting at home and the car was over heating. so the next day i go to start it and it starts rough(idles low) and when i push the gas it starts to die, so i let off and it idles, and i just repeat until i can drive it.. and after a while of idling it runs better..
so i run little test on the over heating.. water pump works...thermostat works...radiator fans work... and i can run it until the gauge says its "hot" and take the radiator cap off and the water is not that hot...
i thing the gauge or the sensors are out...is there any way i can test them to know for sure ???
and on the idle problem any ideas ?? maybe a electrical problem or fuel ejection problem...is there any way i can test any of those ??
Please i can use any ideas !!!
