times? 2003 dodge ram 5.7 l hemi slt QC shuts off when slowing down,stopping, and random times

Its got 86k miles...its been factory flashpcmed and has a k&n FIPK Gen II intake

When driving the engine completely shuts off when stopping,slowing down, and also at random times
WHAT COULD IT BE?! im thinking fuel filter?? any ideas
i put slit instead of SLT sorry
QC=Quad Cab
truck is 4x4
