2003 Dodge Neon SXT 2.0 problem?

God I hate this car...OK. Car started running high RPM even when at slow speed, especially on any road incline regardless of how small. Took to Autozone for diag. and recvd. error codes.

P0123 Throttle position sensor input above acceptable voltage range
P0420 Upstream catalytic converter efficiency below threshold
P0456 Small leak detected in EVAP system

Took converter off and it was pretty much collapsed along with the O2 sensor. Installed new converter and sensor, now RPM are high in park, around the 1500-1800 range. Eventually drops to 1000. Tried to put in reverse to pull out, RPM rhytmically jumps between 1000 and 1700. The car is propelling itself without using the gas pedal. The same problem in drive. Even with the brake depressed, the car wants to move. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You fixed the big problem but have failed to take care of the other two. Now you need to get them to scan it again for you. 99 out of 100 evap leaks is a loose gas cap you need to check all of this then remove the neg battery cable 45 minutes to completely clear the computer. If it still runs bad the combination of the cat and evap leak wiped out the TPS and you'll need to replace it. Just be sure to scan it again. Your Neon is giving you no more trouble than any other make that age in that price range.
