2003 Dodge Grand Caravan won't idle forward/reverse?

Ok here is the Deal, I have been snowed in for a couple of days and when I finally got out I got myself stuck again I rocked the car a couple of times to get unstuck, now when I go into Drive my car won't move until I have given it around 1300 RPM's then it runs fine and the same goes for reverse. I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas. thank you.
 
Sounds like you might actually have a transmission problem. Check the fluid level (refer to owners manual for this), add fluid if necessary.
If not then take it to a local shop!
