I recently had a problem with this car. It would sometimes crank and then sometimes it wouldn't. The times it wouldn't i would turn the key but it wouldn't turn over and crank. I took it to a shop and they could not find a single thing wrong with. They cleaned wires and did what they could. That was about 3 weeks ago. Well, today it cranked but the check engine light came on. I turned the car around and turned it off. I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't. A few hours later it did crank and i drove it around my neighborhood but the engine light stayed on. Could it be the battery--should i just buy a new one or could it be something else??
I did the code check thing and i got p1684 and p0125..i looked it up and these codes indicate something about the coolant and the battery had been disconnected within the last 50 starts.
