I have a 2003 Sebring with 120,000 miles. I was driving it an hour from home last night when without warning the check engine light came on. I lost all fuel power and then the oil light came on, it came on stable not flashing. The car then died, but the lights still worked. This all happened in about 10-15 sections. Very quickly. There were no grinding sounds before this happened or any other noises. I checked the oil and it was low so I added some. The car still won't start. When I put the keys to the position to start it it sounds like the engine wants to turn over, but can't. Does an '03 have a low oil auto shut off? Does that help to stop engine seizing? There were no lights or noises before I broke down. Thanks.
