2003 Chevy Tahoe stalling issues?

My SUV stalls when I round corners and sometimes when I sit at a red light...I am thinking fuel pump which cost 300 plus. I have no other problems with the truck and it starts great. I would like to be sure before I pay that much money. Anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be......
