2003 Chevy Cavailer prob with check engine light.?

My check engine light is on and i got it check at Auto Zone. It came up as an emission vapor problem. I replaced the gas cap.( reset the computer) It came back on. The motor is running fine and there have been no other problems. I search all the hoses for cracks and leaks and cannot find one. Any idea what I should do next before I take it to a garage?
 
Very likely a stuck evap vent valve, but only a diagnosis can verify that, unless you want to gamble on my educated guess alone.
That is the most common evap system failure and the part is relatively inexpensive and simple to replace (it's at or near the evap canister).
