I have a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS. I bought it new in 2003. It has 68,400 miles on it. So far, I have had to spend $3,500 on this car. I have replaced the tires, brake pads and roters, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, compressor and a cooling fan. Personally, I think its insane that a $28,000 car should have this many problems. Plus the fact that its only at less than its life expectancy. Im wondering what you guys think. Did I get a rotten car? The latest issue is that it will not rev past 4 rpm in park. I can get it past 4 rpm in drive, but its not easy. The mechanic is concerned about the fuel injection. He placed cleaner in there, but says it may need to be cleaned manually. Im at my wits end.
