2003 Acura CL transmission issue.?

I am aware that these cars have horrid transmission problems. However, everything I look up refers to problems with automatic Transmissions and mentions the second gear. are there also issuess with Manual transmissions? Does anyone have a link to a site wher I can read up on this?
