2002 toyota camry help please?

My friend has a 2002 toyota camry, and whenever he accelerates, weather or not the air is on, there is like a "whooshing/ rattling/ gurgling" sound that seems to be coming from under the dash. The check engine light doesnt go on, but we are wondering if something is loose or anything.
 
so where along the line your friend had his car service and in the service was a coolant service, correct you have air in the system.
wait until car is cool remove radiator cap and start engine, start to add water into radiator until you don't see any air bubbles. don't wait until the engine get to hot. because the water in the radiator will get hot quick 10-15 min.
