to only happen when hot. On hot days my car won't start. Recently I've been listening for the fuel pump and I don't hear it when I have this problem. Service station replaced fuel pump for $500 but problem persists. Others have asked if I get blinking security light, I do not. However I have a security light that stays lite, along with a bunch of other lights (battery, abs, etc) while car is attempting to start. I can usually get it started by waiting ~5 mins with windows down but today it took 45 mins. When I got it started today the 'service vehicle soon' and 'trac off' light stayed on until I got home. Also, when it fails to start I sometimes hear the doors unlock automatically every 10 seconds for 2-3 times. Very odd, frustrating, and intermittent. Car has 66k miles and I've had wiper motor, rack and pinion, intake gasket, and ignition cylinder replaced. Also, driver window regulator just died. Just replaced original battery because constant failed starts killed it. Car is hateful and miserable
