I changed two oxygen sensors on this car already and each time it cost me more than $400 so I'm hoping there will be an easier and cheaper solution for my current problem/question.
A few times now when I was driving my car within 5 minutes of starting it and while standing at a stoplight the idle rpms will drop down to almost stalling and then come back up. When this happens the check engine light comes on. If I wait a few days the light will go off by itself. In the meantime I do not re-experience this problem. This does not happen a lot. Maybe once every 3 weeks and I've only experienced it three times. In the past when I brought it to the garage the computer says to replace an O2 sensor which are apparently very expensive on this model.
I'm hoping there is another, cheaper solution. Any suggestions are welcomed!
Thanks,
David
