I have a 2002 mazda 626 and trying to figure out what could be wrong. When i turn the wheel, while driving, it makes a loud thumping sound. Not just any kind of ticking sound. Besides the universal and the CV joints, are there other components that need to be checked? And possible estimate on how much it may take to get fixed by a mechanic?
