It does fine when I first start driving when it's cold outside. It's asymptomatic for the first 5 minutes.

I just had the two front wheel bearing hub assemblies replaced thinking that was the problem, but obviously not the problem. When driving at *slow speeds after several minutes of normal driving, (*parking lots, driving through the neighborhood, etc.) roaring noises come out from the rear part of the car and it shakes/vibrates horribly when I press the gas while turning the steering wheel. It's really bad after long trips on the freeway.

I don't know what to do. It's getting so bad that I just had to park it and drive my father's truck because it's getting to the point where I feel that it's unsafe to drive.

Do you know how much it may cost to fix this? I don't know what to do. Please help.

Drain the oil in the rear differential and check the color...does it have a lot of metal in it?Next get a magnet and fish around inside the diff..With the noise you discribe you should get lots of debris. It sounds like a diff gone bad.Buy a diff assembly from a junk yard and r/r it.Cheapest way I know how to deal with a differential.
