could anyone give me some tips or hints on changing the key-lock cylinder on it? also it is stuck in the off position so will have to be drilled out. thank you
slide hammer with a screw at the end, screw the screw into the hole of the cylinder, then use the slide hammer to break the locking pin of the cylinder to pull the cylinder out.
i usually use a small and sharp chisel and slowly chip the cylinder off
drilling will work too if you are very very careful,the center cylinder.is harder than the housing and there is a chance of damaging the housing
if it slip out of center ,unless you have a drill guide
