2002 Ford Escape....To keep or not to keep? What is your experience with the car.?

SO my dilemma is pretty simple. I have a 2002 Ford Escape with just over a year left till it's paid off. I've recently changed a coil and the throttle position sensor, so my engine is running much smoother, but I'm not sure if I should trade it in before major things start to go wrong or if I should keep it.

It has just over 90k miles.

I know I'll probably need new tires next year, definitely new struts. I already bought a new wheel bearing and axle for the car (not installed). Buying a new car SHOULD allow me to drive worry free for a while. I would definitely get something with better gas mileage, as I know get about 17mpg.

So what do you think? Anything I should worry about with the mileage that's on the car? Especially from those who own the car. Thanks for your time
