last night my battery died, my battery light had been on and off for the past day or two, and i was planning on having it checked over the weekend. Instead i had to purchase and install a new battery at midnight last night with the help of my grandfather. The battery light is back on and i had it tested at auto-zone, he said either the alternator is bad, or there is a bad connection somewhere in the system. What are the other possiblities, is there a surefire way to determine if it is indeed a bad alternator. Also, do you have to remove the wheel and fender panel to access the alternator like you have to do to access the battery?
