I was told that a pin that holds the gears in my rear diff popped out and basically ground up the casing... Dealer says to replace the whole thing, another shop says just rebuild the insides and it will be fine.. Is there a different type of differential that I can put in place of the stock one? something without a pin something that wont fall apart? and if I decided to replace the rear end with a used one, what years are compatible?
